Who We Are

Meet Our Team

Collectively we have a background in Theology studies to cut through to the truth, Ignatian discernment, ongoing training in spiritual direction, clinical psychology and professional counseling experience and expertise; but most importantly we are merely followers of Jesus, who have witnessed many miracles and personally experienced so much healing grace that we cannot help but desire to help each other walk closer with God.

Inviting Jesus: The Wonderful Counselor

This ministry does not replace other means of medical care such as psychological services, counseling, medication etc. In fact, St. Paul reminds his friend Timothy (in the Bible) to take his medication! We are grateful for the community of physicians, social workers and medical personnel who fight the forces of darkness by endeavouring to help us be well. But in scripture, no one who asked Jesus to be healed got turned away. ZOE inner healing prayer invites the Heavenly Physician, the Wonderful Counselor Himself in the room with us, as when we are two or more gathered in His Name... nothing is impossible for the Lord! In healing prayer, issues are identified and often healed within minutes as opposed to years. And if God can do that for so many others, He can do that for you! Yes, God is THAT good! We have seen too many miracles to not believe.

Giving God Permission

We encourage you to "give God permission" to pour His light into your heart, mind and body. Just like a stained glass, though we are imperfect and in some ways shattered, when the light of God's love shines and streams through you, the things that don't belong in you get washed off, revealing His masterpiece, the crown of creation: you, His beloved child!

What You Can Expect

We will listen to you and honour you: we will not force you through anything. We also value your time, and want to steward it well.

This is not a counseling session. The prayer ministers are not all trained counselors...we don't even try to counsel: what we aim to do is help you hear the heart and mind of God, nothing less, nothing more, nothing else, and then we get out of the way to let Him love you.

The healing prayers we use with you are all weighed by magisterial interpretation of Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, explanations from various doctors of the Church, writings of the saints, and Ignatian discernment.
